ROBIN of Sherwood star Michael Praed is starring in a brand new production of J.B. Priestley’s classic play Dangerous Corner.

Michael is best known for his iconic portrayal of Robin of Loxley in the 1980s television show and will be appearing at Malvern Theatres from Monday, November 10 alongside Dazeil and Pascoe’s Colin Buchanan.

They are under the direction of the former head of London’s acclaimed Almeida Theatre Michael Attenborough.

From the writer of An Inspector Calls, JB Priestley’s first play Dangerous Corner is a timeless classic mystery where a chance remark at a dinner party exposes a world of murder and conspiracy.

All seems well at the Caplan’s independent publishing house until a can of worms is unceremoniously ripped open at Robert and Freda Caplan’s dinner party.

A chance remark plunges the guests into a re-examination of the mysterious events surrounding the recent death of young Martin Caplan and skeletons come crashing out of the closet in more ways than one.

The strong ensemble cast includes Kim Thomson, best known for her role as Faye Lamb in ITV’s Emmerdale and Matt Milne, who starred in Steven Spielberg’s movie adaptation of War Horse and is fresh from his onscreen performance as Footman Alfred Nugent in Downton Abbey.

Completing the cast are Lauren Drummond, who has had major roles in the TV dramas Holby City and Waterloo Road and Finty Williams, whose film credits include Gosford Park and Mrs Brown.

Danderous Corner will be performed until Saturday, November 15 with shows at 7.30pm as well as 2.30pm matinee performances on Wednesday and Saturday.
