FOUR friends who are all talented artists have come together for an exhibition in The Longwall and Barside Space at Evesham Arts Centre.

Lindsay Tether, Hazel Tyrell, Julie Smith and Wendy Stafford have joined together for the Flowers, Faces and Fusion exhibition to showcase their individual talents.

Together, their pieces are an eclectic mix of painting, photography, mixed media and fused glass.

From childhood Lindsay has had an interest in drawing particularly faces and she showcases some of her portrait work capturing quiet moments of reflection in the sitters while Bretforton photographer Hazel Tyrell captures the real beauty of nature and everyday life.

Watercolour painter Julie Smith enjoys exploring the detail of her art and draws inspiration from many places including flowers and nature, landscapes, people she meets, even bits of stone or wood.

Wendy Stafford, owner of The Art Pad in Offenham, is a self-taught stained and fused glass artist who uses nature as her inspiration.

The exhibition will run until Monday, January 5 next year.
