REHERSALS are in full swing for Kays Theatre Group's pantomime Babes in the Wood which will be coming to The Swan Theatre from Friday, January 16.

Kays’ pantomimes has been running for over 60 years and this January sees the return of favourites such as Barry North transforming into Dame Aloe Vera, Cath Skyrme as Robber Crowle and Andrew Skelton as Robber Tibberton.

They are joined by the talented Peter Baio as the Sherriff of Nottingham.

Kays will be supporting the Worcester-based charity Sight Concern to raise awareness of the assistance required by those with restricted sight.

Peter, Cath and Rachel Sedgley, director of this year’s panto alongside Harlequin’s Paula Dymock, have already raised nearly £1,000 with a sponsored fire walk which the group will add to with proceeds of a nightly front of house raffle.

Dancers from Harlequin Stage School will be joining the theatre group on stage having just been selected to take part in the Dance World Cup representing England in Bucharest in the summer of 2015.

They are entering 100 children and are looking for corporate sponsorship, for more details email info@harlequinstageschool.org.uk.

Babes in the Wood runs until Sunday, January 25 with tickets available from the Kays Box Office on 01905 425299.
