IF you are looking for a family fun activity in the New Year away from the cold blustery wind then The Swan Theatre has something for you.
Swan Theatre Amateur Company will be performing The King's Ugly Daughter by Max Hollis for their monthly children's theatre on Saturday, January 3.
There will be fun and songs as well as lots of audience participation as children aged between two to nine-year-olds are introduced to King Useless who is very poor.
To try and raise some much needed funds, he and his servant Glumbucket try to marry his daughter off to a wealthy prince.
Their attempts at making Uglienda more attractive do not go quite to plan and the suitor they find for her in the end is very rich but unfortunately not very princely.
The King's Ugly Daughyter will be performed at 10.30am and 11.45am.
Tickets cost £2.50 or groups of ten and more £2.25 per ticket.
Under 2 year olds are free.
