SETTING off alone on foot, one man will be telling the tale of his epic world record-setting trek across the vast space of Mongolia facing wild wolves at Malvern Theatres.
Last summer, Ash Dykes travelled from the Altai Mountains, through the Gobi Desert, to the Mongolian Steppe, alone, on foot.
Climbing huge peaks, stalked by wild wolves, battered by sand storms, facing severe dehydration, suffering the delirium of extreme heat exhaustion and setting a new world record for the first recorded person ever to complete the feat, Ash trekked solo over 1500miles in 78 days, pulling a 120kg cart of provisions.
Now 24, he survived one of the toughest world expeditions of recent times, where temperatures exceeded 40C, with no shelter, and is now set to tell the tale during his brand new lecture show, Breaking Mongolia: The Lonely Snow Leopard.
He will be at Malvern Theatres on Wednesday, March 4 at 7.45pm.
To book tickets, costing £11.20, call 01684 892277 or visit www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
