AWARD-winning writer and performer Caroline Horton brings Penelope RETOLD to Market Theatre, Ledbury on Saturday, March 28.
Caroline has previously delighted Arts Alive audiences with You’re Not Like the Other Girls, Chrissy and Mess.
Often tackling difficult material but always with humour, pathos and subtlety, Caroline now takes a sideways look at military life – and its effect on those who are left behind.
Set in Ithaca - an island paradise and home to Penelope.
She is married to a world famous war hero and she has had enough of waiting quietly.
Made with input from soldiers and military spouses, Penelope RETOLD is an irreverent collision of classic myth and contemporary rage.
