ARTISTS and photographers working in a contemporary style are invited to submit work for an exhibition at Artrix Arts Centre in Bromsgrove.

It is the second year of the Summer Exhibition which saw over 100 submissions last year and exhibited over 40 artists’ work.

The exhibition will be curated by a team of young curators from local schools and colleges.

Three dimensional work and crafts will be considered according to the limitations of display space at the venue.

TC Peppercorn, Artrix exhibitions co-ordinator, said: “We were thrilled that last year’s Summer Exhibition was such a success and delighted that we can once again offer an opportunity to the many artists who produce more unusual work that may not find an audience in more traditional galleries in the district.”

To have work considered, email a photograph along with the entry form to outreach@artrix.co.uk.

All submissions must be seen before May 8 and no submission will be considered without the signed entry form.

Final decisions will be made by May 22 and works are to be delivered to Artrix during the week beginning July 6.

Hanging will take place on Monday, July 13 and the exhibition will open on Wednesday, July 15 with a launch event.
