OSCAR Wilde's tale of a mysterious painting and a handsome young man with a dark secret will be performed by European Arts Company.
Fresh from a West End run of The Trials of Oscar Wilde, the company returns with a thrilling adaptation of Wilde’s only novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Set in the decadent world of Victorian London, a beautiful young man called Dorian Gray becomes infatuated by the exquisite portrait that Basil Hallward has painted of him. He makes a Faustian pact that he will remain forever young while the picture grows old.
The show combines drawing-room comedy and Gothic horror.
The Picture of Dorian Gray will be at The Swan Theatre on Saturday, April 11 from 7.30pm.
Tickets, costing £15, are available by calling 01905 611427.
