A DANCE teacher has been recognised for her hard work bringing dance opportunities to young people.
DanceFest's Fi Hay has become a Youth Dance England U.Dance champion thanks to her work throughout Worcestershire.
U.Dance seeks to increase the number of youth dance performances and support teachers who organise them and aims to provide dance performance opportunities for every child and young person in England.
Fi has been working for DanceFest since September 2014 and leads weekly classes including street and breakdance class Urban Dance for boys aged eight and upwards and Fusion youth performance group.
Fi and the Dancefest team, based at Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester, are currently working on their jam-packed summer programme, with performances and events in Worcester, Bromsgrove and Hereford taking place throughout July.
