MALVERN Cube will host its first ever comedy night on Friday, July 10 with energetic Brummie comedian Andy White taking the headline slot.

Andy is a confident comedian who uses comic voices to extremely funny effect.

He went from working in a call centre to becoming a stand up comedian and combines observational and topical humour.

Andy has appeared on numerous shows including the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC Choice, Brand Spanking New on BBC Radio 7 and his winning performance on the Weakest Link comedians special.

Supporting will be Andrew Watts who has featured on ITV's Stand-Up Hero and Comedy Central's The World Stands Up.

He has a very distinctive style - his posh boy humour is intelligent without distancing himself from the audience.

Lawyer turned comedian, Andrew is extremely likeable and wins the crowd over as he canters through challenging subjects.

Compering the evening will be Preston funnyman Tony Vino who has been on the comedy scene since 2005.

Well aware of social and political issues, he mixes friendly well thought out observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses.

Providing refreshments for the event will be sponsors Friday Beer and The Cake Tin Cafe.

Comedy at Malvern Cube kicks off at 7.30pm with tickets available from malverncube.com for £10 in advance or £11 on the door.
