THERE will be a chance to enjoy no less than six great comedy acts who will be trying out their 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe comedy shows in Evesham this July.

People will be given the audience a sneak preview of the world's greatest comedy festival.

Acts include ex-policeman Alfie Moore, the unique logic of Chris Martin, the return of sharp stand-up Chris Turner and the acclaimed improv team Racing Minds.

There will also be the error-prone Andrew Ryan and Egyptian-Welshman Omar Hamdi.

Each night features two shows for just £8 the pair with shows on Thursday, July 16, Friday, July 17 and Friday, July 24.

First up on Thursday will be Chris Turner who celebrates reaching his quarter-century - the age a doctor diagnosed he'd die at and Racing Minds who will use audience suggestions for their show Aaaand Now For Something Completely Improvised.

The following evening (Friday) policeman turned comic Alfie Moore will perform his A Fair Cop Stands Up show while Chris Martin will look at why stand up cannot have a soundtrack like the movies.

The following Friday sees Irish storyteller Andrew Ryan present Perfectly Inadequate in which he comes to grips with his faults and now knows that it is good not to be perfect. Appearing alongside him will be Omar Hamdi and his show In the Valleys of the Kings.

Brought up by his Egyptian mummy in deepest Wales, Omar’s childhood was full of mysteries - How did men ruin everything? What is love? Why's depression such a downer?

Almost entirely constituted of energy, enthusiasm and wit, Omar excavates the mummy issues of the lesser-spotted Egyptian-Welshman.

Tickets are priced at £8 per double-bill and are on sale now from Evesham Almonry, 01386 446944 and eveshamartscentre.co.uk.

Minimum age is 16 and shows start at 8pm.
