CROUPIERS, cocktails, canapés and dancing will all be in store at a glamorous charity Casino Night, at The Courtyard venue in Hereford.

At stake, however, could be the venue's financial well being, as Herefordshire Council pulls the plug on funding.

The Courtyard’s Main House stage will be transformed into a sophisticated casino for the evening and ticket holders are invited to don black tie and cocktail frocks for an evening of gambling with ‘fun money’.

Run by professional croupiers and featuring a selection of popular gaming tables, the evening will also include an exclusive cocktail bar run by The Shack Revolution, magic and dancing, plus canapés and bubbly on arrival.

Lucy Wells, Business Development Manager at The Courtyard, said, “We are delighted to be hosting our first ever Casino Night, with all profits supporting The Courtyard.

"In April 2016, we will lose all of our remaining funding from Herefordshire Council, so creative and diverse fundraising is becoming increasingly important to The Courtyard’s future. Bring your friends, dress up and enjoy a great night out, whilst supporting Herefordshire’s Centre for the Arts.”

Tickets cost £22.50 which includes bubbly and canapés on arrival.

Casino Night will be in the Main House at The Courtyard on Saturday January 30 at 8pm. www.courtyard.org.uk.
