YOUNG regulars at the Harlequin Stage School had an extra special visitor recently, in the shape of Buttercup the Cow, direct from Panto Land.

Buttercup proved to be a highly popular attraction when she called into the Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club, not least because the Harlequin students are currently on stage at The Swan, alongside the friendly bovine, as part of the Kays Panto, Little Bo Beep.

A spokesperson said: "Little Bo Peep is set around the traditional nursery rhyme with all the features of a good old British panto."

Barry North, who this year is cast as Mefisto the Magician, really enjoys being part of the Kays’ team.

He said: “I am delighted to be performing again at The Swan, with a few magic tricks and spells.”

The show also features the talents of Dance World Cup gold medallists from the Harlequin Stage School.

Directed this year by Ann Mayor and Sue Sanderson, Kays Theatre Group’s production of Little Bo Peep opened at The Swan Theatre, Worcester, on January from Thursday, January 21 and it will run until Sunday, January 31.

Tickets are available from 01905 425299 or 08453 883783 or through the website www.kaystheatregroup.co.uk, where further information and details of the performance dates and times are available.
