TWO days of creativity are coming up at the Worcester Arts Workspace.

On Friday March 4, Vamos Theatre will be hosting "A Meeting of Creative Minds", an open space-style forum for arts professionals.

A spokesman said: "This is a free event, bringing together the movers and shakers of the West Midlands’ arts scene; exploring how to work together to realise more exciting projects and create the conditions for us all to thrive in.

"Facilitated by independent artistic director Orit Azaz, the event aims to be a positive and inspiring day exchanging ideas, making new connections, nurturing collaborations, sharing, learning, and simply making things happen."

This free event will run from 10am to 4pm at Worcester Arts Workshop.

Places are free, but people need to book. To reserve a place, visit the Eventbrite website at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-meeting-of-creative-minds-tickets-19441177084

A Meeting of Creative Minds is supported by Worcestershire Arts Partnership and Arts Council England.

On Saturday March 5, the creativity continues, "as Worcestershire Arts Partnership proudly presents an evening of new work by local dramatists and theatre makers".

Previously unperformed, the five short performances are created by local writers looking for feedback to develop their productions.

A spokesman said: "This is the fourth Jump Start event, showcasing an increasing number of diverse productions, and offering opportunities for writers, practitioners, directors and performers to get involved in creating new, dynamic theatre."

The selected performances are: “Submission” by Geoff Mills, “Crossing The Line” by Michael Sheath, “The Cycle of the White Rose” by Caroline Summerfield, new devised work from OvaryActing, “Adored Once Too” by Rob Joiner.

The evening is free of charge, starts at 7pm and will be held at Worcester Arts Workshop, 21 Sansome Street, Worcester.
