THE tale will be told in Worcester of an inspirational hero, flawed maverick, tactical genius and rebel, called Admiral Lord Nelson.
Nelson - The Sailor's Story, will come to The Swan on Saturday, May 7, from 7.30pm.
A spokesman said: "Amidst Trafalgar’s shot, smoke and din, the crew of the Victory strive to destroy the combined fleet of France and Spain. "On New Year’s Eve 200 years later, Nelson surveys the world from his column in Trafalgar square with a wry and observant eye; shooing pigeons and insulting French tourists. Below him a homeless Falklands veteran shivers in the cold."
The show is written and performed by Nicholas Collett.
