A NEW production of Jungle Book at Malvern Theatres will be "a radical re-imagining with powerful visual storytelling, and skateboards".
Metta Theatre will be performing at Malvern Theatres from Tuesday May 3 to Saturday May 7.
A spokesman said: "Acclaimed street dance choreographer Kendra J Horsburgh is collaborating with Artistic Directors Poppy Burton-Morgan and William Reynolds on a new version of Jungle Book, using street dance, circus, skateboards and spoken word.
"This sees Jungle Book transposed to a contemporary urban jungle of fleet-footed wolves, street dancing monkeys, a beat-boxing bin man Baloo and graffiti artist Bagheera; it's Kipling for the 21st century."
The spokesman added: "This production will simultaneously astonish with its physical virtuosity and challenge with its politics."
Tickets are on sale at the Box Office 01684 892277 and online at malvern-theatres.co.uk
