IF you are in danger of disappearing and want to know how to reappear, get yourself along to the Evesham Arts Centre.

A one woman show about life changes, called "How To Reappear" will entertain a local audience on May 14, from 8pm, and commanding the stage, and impressively visible, will be Gemma Bolwell of Foulisfair Theatre, which is based in Cheltenham.

The show has already been performed to acclaim in Swindon, Stroud, Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bath.

A spokesman said: "How To Reappear is about moments in which life changes: when you wake up in the morning and no longer recognise yourself. It's about how we can deal with big life transitions and how we can attempt to journey towards a clearer sense of self.

"For Gemma, the reason for creating the show was the all-encompassing experience of becoming a mother - the fog of motherhood - and losing a clear sense of personal identity she never really realised she had, until it was too late."

The spokesman added: "The ideas tackled are broader than this, as one of the characters portrayed is a 'Fog-In-The-Head-Expert' who sets the audience intriguing little exercises around the theme of identity.

"It's weighty stuff, but the piece is fast-paced and humorous and is characterised by playful interaction with audience members, who are encouraged to think about their own life journeys and their relationship with their own identity. Many have been moved to laughter and tears."
