VISITORS to the Ledbury Poetry Festival will be able to have an "Encounter with Gertrude Bell", who died in 1926.
A medium will not be required, only the expert knowledge of speaker Jan Long, who has long been fascinated by the woman who was an accomplished writer, archaeologist and British official.
Bell played a key role in the establishing the state of Iraq.
The event will take place from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Ledbury Maps and Books on Monday July 4.
The evening will feature wine and light refreshments
