THE world’s first fully holographic production is to comes to the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury.

The "Symphony To A Lost Generation" show will take place on Tuesday July 19 and Wednesday July 20.

A spokesman said: "From the mind of one of Britain’s most promising young composers, Adam Donen, this epic production is one not to be missed.

"Based on the historical break that was the First World War, Symphony To A Lost Generation is more than just a simple war story. It’s an emotional and comprehensive artistic depiction that presents both the monumental, such as Gallipoli and the Somme, and the deeply personal, treating the entire conflict as the stories of individuals: their passions, their hopes and their struggles."

The spokesman added: "Unlike many a Hollywood film, the story doesn’t finish at the war’s end but instead delves into the post war conscious of all those affected, before taking a look at how modern day society views the Great War.

"The scale and imagination of Symphony is like nothing audiences have experienced; thanks to its innovative production method, a cast of over 400 of the world’s biggest artistic talents are able to tour to almost any venue in the country. This is an opportunity for local to see a top quality London show on their own front doorstep, thanks in large to the wonderful holographic display which is produced so spectacularly that audiences will soon forget they aren’t watching live performers on stage."
