COMEDIAN Shappi Khorsandi is in the mood for Morris Dancing, as she casts a fond eye on her forty years in the UK.
Even bald men will be welcome at her celebration of all things quirky and British.
Shappi's show, "Oh My Country! - From Morris Dancing to Morrissey" will come to The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury on Wednesday, September 14, as part of her UK tour.
Shappi, originally from Iran, is "celebrating the fortieth anniversary of her arrival in Britain".
A spokesman said: "She's reclaiming patriotism, sending a love letter to her adopted land. Please don’t come if you’re a skinhead; though naturally bald folk are welcome.
"She has whip-crack jokes and is effortlessly funny as she handles every subject with a razor sharp wit, softened only by her deliciously mischievous delivery and endless charm."
