DOTTY the Dragon is set to land at Hartlebury Castle, all thanks to Blunderbus Theatre.
Family fun will come to the venue on Thursday, August 25.
A spokesman said: "Using songs and puppetry to delight and enchant, Dotty the Dragon is the perfect way to introduce children to the magic of theatre.
"The performance starts at 3.30pm and promises plenty of surprises along the way, so pack a picnic and get ready to follow the adventures of Dotty the baby fire dragon, as she goes on a journey to make friends."
The spokesman added: "Dotty lives in the castle with her grumpy dad, Mr Dragon. She loves to watch the children playing in the village below, and wishes she could play with them, too.
"One day Dotty has a brilliant idea - she will fly down to the village and say hello. After all, everybody loves surprises, don’t they?"
Claire Whitbread, Projects and Partnership Officer, added: "This is such a wonderful performance for young families to engage in the magic of live theatre and storytelling. It's a really fun and laid back performance that will really entertain young and old alike, and what better place to meet Dotty the Dragon than a castle."
