IF you have chills, and they're multiplying, then Grease is the word and the place to be will soon be the Artrix venue in Bromsgrove.

Fans will be grease lightning getting there for the Artrix Grease Weekend on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20.

A spokesman said: "Ever since its release in 1978, Grease has been one of the most popular movie musicals ever made. The story of Sandy and Danny, two high-school kids who fall in love on holiday in the fifties, remains a classic.

"In an exciting new venture, Artrix will be hosting two separate drive-in screenings of Grease in the main car park at Artrix . Parking is available from 7.30 pm. The maximum number of people per car is five. Don't forget to wear your best T-Bird or Pink Ladies outfits,"

Artrix’s Director Hannah Phillips said:

‘We are looking to use our spaces at Artrix in innovative and interesting ways which is why we are so excited about launching our Drive in Movies in the car park in August. What better way to start than with an old school classic, Grease! We hope both our existing audiences and those who have never been to Artrix before will want to put their wireless headsets on and join us for a hot dog and a movie in the comfort of their own car."
