THE legendary Osmonds are ready to bring back the fuzzy-magical atmosphere to Malvern for their Andy Williams Christmas Show.

The date for the diary, for Osmonds fans, is Thursday, December 22.

A spokesman said: "The nostalgic Christmas spectacle, remembering a true pioneer in variety shows, will return to Malvern Theatres for an action-packed, family friendly production.

"The show will include ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, who has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent; Charlie Green, who Jimmy Osmond thinks is 'an amazing singer' and The Moon River Singers and Dancers."

"You guys love Andy,’’ Jimmy Osmond told the Worcester News. "I feel at home in Malvern, not just being a performer but genuinely feeling accepted.

He added: "It’s so much fun.’’

Jimmy explained: "The Andy Williams Christmas Extravaganza is an American tradition that started in the 1960s and is beloved around the world. It was Andy’s wishes and now my great honour and privilege to continue his amazing legacy of family-friendly action-packed variety at it's best. This award-winning show has proven to warm hearts Come celebrate Christmas with us"

When asked about missing a chance to spend a quiet Christmas, he said: "Well I never really had a quiet Christmas. My family is always with me and this is what we do. I love the opportunity to lift people up and make them forget about their troubles at least for a while.

"Even after fifty years, I love doing this. Our parents taught us to work hard and be respectful. When you think about something bigger being out there, it affects your perspective. I still enjoy doing what I do, I feel very blessed actually.’’
