AUTUMN draws on moodily, and Emily Brontë's brooding classic, Wuthering Heights, is coming to the stage of Ledbury's Market Theatre.
Suitable for an October evening, the tale of immortal love story, with a ghost or two thrown in for good measure, is set amongst the bleak beauty of Haworth Moor.
A spokesman said: "Over the landscape towers the wild and terrible figure of Heathcliff.
"The tale of his searing passion for the
beautiful Catherine Earnshaw has the vividness of nightmare, the beauty and simplicity of an old ballad, and depth and intensity of ancient tragedy.
"This is a spell-binding thriller and ghost story."
The show is the latest offering from the Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society.
The production will run from October 20 to October 22.
