IF ROCK is your thing, prepare for almost fifty "full-on, air-punching, arm-waving, foot-stomping, head-banging rock anthems" at Malvern Theatres.

One Night of Rock is coming to the Worcestershire venue for a night that will actually be the evening of Thursday, December 8, from 7.45pm.

Despite the proximity to Christmas, there probably won't be any carols, with power chords or otherwise.

A spokesman said: "Featuring the music of Bon Jovi, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Meat Loaf, Led Zeppelin, Guns 'n' Roses, The Who, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Status Quo, Dire Straits, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Whitesnake, Muse, ZZ Top, Kiss and more, the production is an all-new audio visual rock experience.

“One Night of Rock features non-stop, axe-wielding, powerhouse performances plus an awesome laser show. Your ears and eyes just won’t believe what they’re hearing and seeing."

The spokesman added: "Crackling with energy, a packed stage pays host to four oh-so-sweet-voiced singers plus amazing multi-talented musicians.”

The set list is a run From Whole Lotta Love to Sweet Child of Mine, from Born to be Wild to Walk this Way, from Layla to Bohemian Rhapsody, from I Can’t Get No Satisfaction to Bat Out of Hell.

The spokesman said: "The soaring lead vocals are shared between two oh-so-sweet-voiced girls and two rock-god guys, backed with real musical muscle by an axe-wielding, all-girl band. One Night of Rock will have music fans rocking in the aisles as it takes them on a two-hour trip back in time to the glory days of live rock anthems."
