RAW Comedy will be on offer at Evesham Arts Centre, when six new acts will attempt to be funny before being famous.
The hopeful and potentially brave stand-ups will come to the venue's Foyer Bar on November 4, for what is being billed as "the biggest and best new comedy gig in town".
A spokesman said: "The recipe for November's feast of funny will include Harry Stachini, an easy-going new act all the way from Liverpool; Daphna Baram, the London-based comedian, journalist and lawyer; Ben Pope, 'who admits to having been President of the Cambridge Footlights', and Luke Dixon, 'a Mancunian deadpan storyteller'."
But the headliner will be Ed Pownall, sketchwriter and broadcaster, "who beat The Gong at London's Comedy Store and hasn't looked back".
The spokesman added: "Comedy fans get a good laugh and the chance to spot comedy talent before those first stadium tours."
