NO leaves, no warmth - November, but there will still be great comedy at the Mode venue in Worcester.

The Mode has just announced the return of Comedy Club, to help dispel that late autumnal gloom.

A spokesman said: "Get ready to eat, drink, watch and laugh as we give you an unforgettable night with the top comics in the business.

"The night will consist of comedians Tom Stade, Nick Page and Lovdev Barpaga with MC Ryan Gough."

The spokesman added: "The first act is Lovdev Barpaga who has been described as a one-liner comedian whose mixture of jokes is guaranteed to have the crowd in hysterics. He is a confident, gift of the gab performer and this will effectively allow him to spa with the liveliest of audiences.

"Next up we’ve got Nick Page; some say his unique rapid fire delivery will leave you wondering how anyone can get through so many words so quickly, but one thing’s for certain you won’t be able to hold back the laughter."

Last up will be Tom Stade, a star of BBC One’s live at the Apollo and someone who has featured on Mock the week.

The spokesman said: "He's an insider’s tip for comedy greatness: comic riffs of monumental proportions.”

The doors will open at 7pm, on Friday November 4.
