PANTO time is here again – oh yes it is – and members of Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) are busy putting the finishing touches to this year's seasonal offering.

The PODS pantomime production, Cinderella, is being staged at the Number 8 arts centre in Pershore from Monday, December 5 until Saturday, December 10.

The show included some talented young performers from the PODS youth section and all the tremendous tunes, fabulous frocks, fancy footwork and full-on audience participation you would expect from a classic panto.

Stand by boos and hisses as kindly Cinderella braves barbs and bruises from Baroness Hermoine and her dreaded duo of diva daughters.

Too timid to take on this tetchy trio, Cinderella can at least count on the help of brotherly Buttons and a fantastic Fairy Godmother.

Can they help Cinderella escape her loathsome life to get to a be-dazzling ball? And will she size up as the perfect partner for the Prince's hand in marriage?

Evening performances take place at 7.30pm and there will also be a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
