SHERLOCK Holmes will be visiting St George's Hall in Blockley this Saturday (November 26), when the sleuth will be investigating "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
The great Conan Doyle creation will be brought before a local audience by the Gloucester-based "Rain or Shine Theatre Company".
A spokesman said: "Famed for their Shakespeare summer season UK tours, Rain or Shine are delighted to be on tour again this Christmas season with a unique adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic tale.
"Meet the world’s most famous of detective, Sherlock Holmes, as he is called upon to solve the greatest mystery of all time; that of The Hound of the Baskervilles, for a light hearted evening of mystery, comedy and suspense."
The show is set in authentic Victorian costume, "with a cast of four playing a whole host of characters".
