A BRAND new adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic Gothic horror tale, Frankenstein, is set to thrill and chill a Malvern audience, at the Forum Theatre.

A spokesman said: "It is Geneva; 1816, and Victor Frankenstein is obsessed in the pursuit of nature’s secret, the elixir of life itself; but nothing can prepare him for what he creates.

"He begins a gripping life or death adventure taking him to the ends of the earth, and beyond."

This brand new version of Frankenstein blends "storytelling, live music, puppetry and stunning theatricality".

The spokesman added: "From the artistic team behind Blackeyed Theatre’s hugely successful 2013 production of Dracula, Frankenstein promises a fresh, exciting take on what is widely considered to be a landmark work of romantic, gothic and science fiction literature."
