AN exhibition being hailed as "one of the arts highlights of the year" is set to return to the atmospheric setting of Worcester Cathedral's cloisters.

The eighteenth Voices and Visions project will take the theme "Our Generation" for a focus, and it will feature art work from over fifty schools across the county, as well as themed performances.

Steve Wilson, County Arts Officer, spoke of his excitement about the project: "I am really looking forward to seeing the exhibition and seeing the fantastic quality of work from our schools. For any project to be running for eighteen years is a great achievement."

The project is funded and delivered by the County Arts Service and is supported by the Worcestershire Arts Partnership. The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday May 13 to Sunday June 11.

This year the project is also being supported by the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts (NADFAS) who have given a grant to support artists to work in special schools across the county.

In June there will two special performances at the cathedral as well as one at the Hive.
