Pershore Rural South and Rural North neighbourhood policing team

Inspector Deborah Sanders

Inspector Deborah Sanders is responsible for the Safer Neighbourhood Teams in Malvern, Upton, Tenbury, Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore. She has 21 years service with West Mercia Police, and has undertaken the role of Safer Neighbourhood Inspector since October 2014. Prior to that, she was a Patrol Inspector, responsible for 24/7 response policing in South Worcestershire, and has also had Inspector roles in the Professional Standards Department and Force Operations Department.

Sergeant Sarah Kent

I have been employed by West Mercia Police since 1995 serving 7 years as a Police Officer and then moving into the role of Sergeant in 2001

I have worked in Worcester as a Patrol Constable and Sergeant and also spent some time as a Custody Sergeant. For eight years I was posted to Tenbury Wells where I was responsible for both Patrol Officers and the Safer Neighbourhood Team covering Tenbury and the Team Valley. In July 2013 I became a Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant in Wychavon where I have teams in both Pershore and Droitwich.

Police Constable Zoey Carter

Zoey has been a Police Officer for 15 years; she was initially stationed on a patrol response team at Evesham and then Droitwich. After a few years on response she moved into the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and gained the rank of Detective Constable. Zoey remained in CID until 2013 when she joined the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) Team. Between August 2017 and April 2018 she was the Temporary Sergeant for the Evesham and Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team. She thoroughly enjoyed her time back in uniform and particularly dealing with neighbourhood issues so was thrilled to be offered the Pershore Rural Safer Neighbourhood Officer position.

Zoey is part of the Safer Neighbourhood Team that covers Pershore Rural North and South. The area covers from the south east edge of Worcester down to the Gloucestershire border in the south and incorporates numerous villages including Whittington, The Flyfords, Peopleton, Drakes Broughton, Eckington, Bredon, Ashton under Hill, Sedgeberrow and surrounding areas.

Please feel free to contact Zoey if you have any queries or concerns.
