MEDICS were at the scene of a road collision between a van and a car three minutes after the first emergency call, today.

West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust had a rapid response vehicle at the accident in Blackpole Road near the junction with Winchcombe Drive, Worcester, at 9.37am.

A member of the public had first alerted the emergency services at 9.34am, according to John Hawker, trust spokesman.

An ambulance and two fire appliances also attended and two people were treated for minor injuries and later discharged at the scene.
