Accident on main Worcester road

THERE has been an accident on a main road in Worcester.The A44 Bromyard Road, through St John's, is currently closed both ways near the junction with Boughton Avenue due to an accident which happened just before 3pm today.It is understood that two vehicles were involved and casualties have been taken by West Midlands Ambulance Service to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.Police currently remain scene directing traffic. Whilst delays are expected, officers will reopen the road once the vehicles have been recovered.
