A MOTHER-of-three has told a crown court that four boys made up allegations of sexual assault against her.

Amanda Wheeler said she believed the boys, then aged between 12 and 15, made up the claims after she threatened to tell her husband about an incident involving one of the boys. Wheeler, of Goodrest Walk, Rainbow Hill, Worcester, denies one count of sexual assault and five counts of sexual activity with children.

While she denied all offences she told Worcester Crown Court her behaviour on the evening in question had been “absolutely horrendous, ridiculous, stupid and naive”.

The court was told the 31-year-old was in an alleyway when one of the boys allegedly pulled down his trousers and asked her to perform a sex act on him. He then turned to someone out of her view and said, “It’s your go next, mate”.

She said the incident took between one to five seconds and afterwards she had emerged and told the 15-year-old and another boy who had come out of the house that she would go home and tell her husband, John.

Both boys were in a panic and she claims the 15-year-old said: “We’ve only been having a laugh all night, you’re only drunk, don’t get John involved, he’ll go mad.”

In a police interview read out in court, the housewife said: “I think they were terrified I was going to tell John so thought let’s all say it’s all her.”

The court was told Wheel-er, who admitted she had a problem with alcohol and was on tablets for depression, had been drinking vodka, wine and beer when she was invited to a house party. She told the court she was dancing in the kitchen but denied “lapdancing” and said they did not go near a bench during a walk where the 15-year-old claimed they kissed.

While at the house party she said she had tried to leave and while looking for her keys one of the boys was pulling her upstairs by the hand and the 15-year-old was pushing her up saying “Just sleep here”.

She said: “I wasn’t saying ‘Help I’m being attacked’, I was just probably lamely going, ‘No, I have to go home don’t be silly’. They weren’t doing it aggressively, it was funny.” Wheeler claimed she could remember getting on top of the bed and passing out just as someone lay down on the bed but was unconscious until a girl at the party began pulling her arms and telling her she “looked like a right paedo.”

However, Wheeler said: “She used the word in a really flippant way as teenagers do. “I didn’t believe for one minute that she thought I had ever been a paedophile.”

Semen from two of the boys was found on bedding which had not been washed for a month.

The trial continues.
