ABBERLEY Hall School student Holly Needham ensures her artwork is shipshape ahead of an action-packed expedition to London, where she and her classmates will gain a special insight into life as a sailor and some of their favourite artists.

Culture vultures aged 12 and 13 from the school in Great Witley, near Worcester, are about to embark on a two-day trip to the capital, where they will stay onboard HMS Belfast, which is now operated by the Imperial War Museum Students will also visit the Design Museum and Tate Modern, watch a performance of Chariots of Fire in the West End, explore the Churchill War Rooms and tour St Paul’s Cathedral.

The trip will enable pupils to see first hand the work of artists they have been studying in their lessons.
