ANYONE giving a drop of the red stuff on Tuesday may have been slightly worried when faced with nurses dressed in white coats covered in blood. But there was nothing to fear - the costumes, which also included devil horns and witches' hats, were just donned in aid of Hallowe'en.
To get blood donors in the spirit' of the occasion, the National Blood Service also decorated St Andrew's Methodist Church in Pump Street with cobwebs and spiders. The next donor session in Worcester is on Sunday, November 12 at the Lyppard Grange Centre in Warndon Villages, or Tuesday, November 21 at the Methodist Church Hall in Pump Street.
