Supermarket staff raise money for charity

FUND-RAISING: Supermarket staff.

STAFF at a Malvern supermarket pedalled their way to raising more than £1,300 for charity. The Co-Operative foodstore, Barnards Green, held a fund-raising event for Cancer Research UK, clocking up 15 hours non-stop in the saddle and collecting £1,340 in donations.

Everyone Active at Malvern Splash Leisure Complex, Priory Road, loaned the store an exercise bike to complete the challenge. Donations can still be made by visiting justgiving.com/coopbarnardsgreen.
