Stiff upper lip from rugby players

MANY men will start to look a bit different from tomorrow as they begin growing their moustaches for the Movember charity fund-raiser.

Hundreds of members and supporters of Pershore Rugby Club will be among those sporting ‘tashes’ as part of the global charity campaign to raise funds and awareness to help beat men’s cancers and improve health.

All of the men will be starting November clean-shaven and will grow a moustache in return for donations and get all of their friends, work colleagues and family talking about health problems that men often ignore, especially prostate and testicular cancer.

The club is giving away a meal for two at the Anchor in Wyre Piddle to whoever raises the most money for the club’s appeal. Anyone can support the club by visiting movember.com/ uk/register/details /team_id/448677
