Town centre looking for youthful memories

MEMORIES from the 50-year history of Malvern’s youth centre are being sought for a project on its anniversary.

Malvern Youth and Community Trust, which recently took over the Albert Road North venue – now re-named Malvern Cube – wants to create a more permanent reminder of its history.

A trust spokesman said: “Many visitors have fond memories of their times as young people here. But there are many others who are unaware of the centre’s rich and vibrant history.

“The finished project will be used as a valuable resource, to make concrete everything that was previously anecdotal, to use alongside further education and projects at the centre.”
