AN INTERNATIONAL line-up is taking over Evesham at the Arts Centre’s next comedy night.

Headline act Gary Delaney will be supported by Irish actress and comedian Aisling Bea and the very Welsh Tommy Rowson, with Scotsman David Whitney as master of ceremonies.

Writer and comedian Gary Delaney has made his name with his razor sharp, and often controversial, one-liners.

Gary has written material for programme’s including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Mock The Week, as well as other stand-ups including Sarah Millican, Micky Flanagan, Jimmy Carr and Jason Manford.

His debut Edinburgh show got four-star ratings, with two of his gags making it into Dave's ‘Top 10 Funniest Jokes of the Fringe’.

Aisling Bea has been involved in comedy since university, mostly in sketch groups and as a writer.

At this year's Edinburgh Festival she won the Foster's ‘So You Think You're Funny?’ newcomers award as only the second woman to do so in 25 years.

Tommy Rowson is in the running for this year's BBC Comedy Newcomers award.

Compere David Whitney has been performing for several years now, developing material described as "a fine blend of political satire and pure filth".

The show starts at 8pm on Thursday, November 16 and tickets cost £9 (concessions, students and groups of eight+ £8) or £10 on the night.

Tickets are available online at EveshamArtsCentre.co.uk or from Evesham Almonry in Abbey Road. Recommended minimum age 16.
