THE WORLD’s longest running show is coming to Malvern Theatres as part of its first ever tour to celebrate 60 years on stage.

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of British theatre, with almost 25,000 performances.

When a group of people gathered in a country house are cut off by the snow they discover to their horror that there is a murderer in their midst.

One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed.

The star cast includes Karl Howman (Brush Strokes) as Mr Paravavincini, Bruno Langley (Coronation Street) as Giles, Thomas Howes (Downton Abbey) as Sgt Trotter, Graham Seed (The Archers) as Major Metcalf, Steven France (EastEnders) as Christopher Wren and Jemma Walker (EastEnders) as Mollie.

Jan Waters will reprise her West End role as Mrs Boyle and Clare Wilkie (EastEnders) will play Miss Casewell.

In The Mousetrap, Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.

The Mousetrap runs at Malvern Theatres between Monday and Saturday, November 19 to 24, with evening performances at 8pm and matinees at 2.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Tickets cost between £19 and £31, Monday to Thursday and £23 to £35, Friday and Saturday.

Tickets for the matinee performances cost between £15 and £27.
