CHURCH-goers are enjoying a tidy garden thanks to staff from a city bank.
The congregation of Holy Trinity and St Matthew's Church, Ronkswood, Worcester, were devastated when they discovered their garden had been targeted by vandals and wrecked earlier this year.
On Sunday kind-hearted staff from the Worcester branch of Barclays bank gave up their free time to help them out.
A team of 20 got their hands dirty weeding, cleaning and planting.
Sarah Williams, assistant branch manager of Barclays, Worcester, said: "The day was fantastic for everyone involved.
"I think it's wonderful that the garden will look so good for Remembrance Sunday."
The event was part of the Community Service Volunteers Make a Difference Day, an annual campaign to which Barclays contributes about 10,000 employees across the country, who give their time, rather than their money, to help improve their local communities.
