CHANTRY High School pupils spent a day combining their skills at languages and business.
Year 9 pupils from the school, in Martley, near Worcester, took part in the Languages in Business Day, working for an imaginary chocolate manufacturing company based in the Midlands.
Heather Morgan, a language teacher at the school, said each group was divided into five sub-groups where they had to complete a number of language-related tasks, including translation, purchasing, hosting and advertising.
"They used French, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian, and there was a competition at the end of the day to see which was the winning team," she said. "This was the first year we have done this but hopefully it's something we can repeat."
