DRESSAGE star and Olympic goldmedallist Carl Hester helped a local riding club toast its success.

Carl, together with British dressage sponsorship manager Maggie Jackman, gave members of Malvern Hills Riding Club an interesting insight into what it was like behind the scenes at Greenwich during the Olympic games.

He produced his precious gold medal for everyone to admire at the club’s recent meeting, which was held at The Hunters, Longdon.

Club member Caroline Bates, said: “Members have competed at several major British riding club championships this year and so we decided to pull out all the stops at our meeting.

“We were privileged to welcome Carl and Maggie as our guest judges when six committee members performed a hilarious dressage to music routine on trusted hobby horses.”
