America falls in love with Cher

Worcester News: STATESIDE SUCCESS: Cher Lloyd. STATESIDE SUCCESS: Cher Lloyd.

HAVING started her journey to stardom on the British version of X Factor, Malvern’s Cher Lloyd has now received a standing ovation on the American show.

The 19-year-old performed her new single Oath, featuring American artist Becky G, live on X Factor USA with a dramatic and energetic performance backed by a cast of dancers.

It marks an impressive rise since she finished fourth in the 2010 run of the programme on this side of the Atlantic, which has seen her single I Want U Back going platinum after selling more than a million copies before the US release of her debut album Sticks and Stones last month.

The singer kept followers up to date on Twitter.

This is a follow up from some months ago where she was booed off, sad to see that but when you've no talent compared to many who never get a chance it just shows how corrupt the music buisness is.
