A WOMAN who received head injuries after colliding with a car in Spetchley Road yesterday remains in a stable condition.
The woman, in her 60s, was airlifted to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where doctors assessed that her head injury was not as serious as first though.
At 8am, a silver-grey Vauxhall Zafira was turning right onto Spetchley Road from the junction of Nunnery Wood High School when it collided with the pedestrian as she crossed the road.
She received several injuries, including what was thought to have been a serious head injury.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, who have not already spoken to the police, to get in touch.
Witnesses should call the non-emergency police number 101 quoting reference number 75s 10/12/12.
