Brief Worcester 'snowfall' not what it appeared Brief Worcester 'snowfall' not what it appeared

MORNING commuters may have thought they were in for an early white Christmas today.

But what looked like a short flurry of snow before 8am was nothing more than rime -  frozen water droplets in fog that have a similar appearance to small snowflakes.

The Met Office had warned of fog patches in Worcester and the surrounding area this morning.

It was expected to thin throughout the day.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but It's WINTER, It gets cold at this time of year.....How is this news?

Blueworcs - maybe there isn't any 'news'? I'd rather read about the snow that wasn't snow than tales of burglaries and the like. :D
