Visitors from Germany saw Worcester at its festive finest. The party from Kleve, the city’s twin town in the north-west of Germany, were welcomed by the City of Worcester Twinning Association and Mayor Roger Berry.
During their stay, Kleve’s bürgermeister Theo Brauer and fellow councillors were treated to a behind-the- scenes tour of the Guildhall and a trip around the city’s streets for the annual Victorian Christmas Fayre.
A Christmas dinner at Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s New Road home brought the trip to a close. Councillor Berry said: “I think it was very successful.
"It was a nice opportunity for them to see Worcester and the Christmas Fayre was probably the highlight.
