STAFF at Malvern Hills District Council have been sharing the festive spirit with three local charities.
They have organised a variety of fund-raising events over recent weeks, including a fund-raising quiz that raised £150 for Funny Blood, an Upton-based not for profit organisation that raises funds and awareness for rare blood conditions.
The Tourist Information Centre, in Church Street, has raised £200 for Acorns Children’s Hospice through its “post a letter to Santa” initiative and MHDC staff have also donated £68 to local charity Great Malvern Relief in Need.
Chris Bocock, MHDC chief executive, said: “We recognise the value of the work done by all charities and are keen to support them with their work even if it is in just a small way.”
